A festival to celebrate Holi, this is a great occasion for the visitor to watch several elephant sports and also play this festival of colors. Gangaur Fair:
A festival devoted to Goddess Parvati. It is time for young girls to dress up in their finery and pray for grooms of their choice while the married women pray for the well-being of their husbands. Teej Festival:
A festival to mark the advent of monsoon. Essentially a women's festival, it is interesting to watch them enjoying in groups and at various bazaars where they turn up to shop in all their finery. Makar Sankranti:
The festival is celebrated on the 14th of January every year. This has now become the festival of kite-flying which does not spare the soaring spirits of anyone in Jaipur. The devoted ones, however, take a holy dip in the kund at Galtaji. The traditional sweet associated with it is Phirni, made in abundance by the halwais of Jaipur Elephant Festival:
This festival is held on the day of Holi, the festival of colours, at the Chaughan stadium. Beautifully decorated and caparisoned elephants assemble to participate in the royal procession. Elephant polo, elephant race,elephant tug-of-war with a few tourist and holi on elephant back are some of the exciting events.

Jantar Mantar:
A stone observatory. Largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments,whose setting and shapes are scientifically designed, represent the high points of medieval Indian astronomy.The most striking of these are the Ram Yantras used for gauging altitudes.
Hawa Mahal:
Built in 1799 A.D. the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds is a major Rajput landmark. This five storied building along the main street of the old city is in pink splendor with semi octagonal and delicately honey combed sandstone windows.
The monument was originally conceived with the aim of enabling ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and royal processions of the city. Albert Hall Museums:
The Albert Hall at Jaipur is majorly famous for its museums. The ground floor and the first floor of the hall occupy an exclusive art museum and have a large number of beautiful paintings. Paintings from various art schools in Rajasthan have been put on a display here. Most of the paintings here date back to the 18the century. The museum also has a mummy that is nearly twenty three hundred years old. The mummy that was brought from Egypt is supposed to be of a woman from a family of the priest.
City Palace Museum:
The City Palace Museum in Jaipur is divided into three sections namely textile museum, arms museum and art museum. As one enters the City Palace area, the first museum that falls on the way is the textile museum that houses a number of garments and ornaments worn by the kings and other members of the royal family in the departed era. The major highlight of this museum is a garment worn by Sawai Raja Madho Singh II.
Dolls Museum:
Dolls Museum in Jaipur is perhaps the most famous among all other museums of 'Pink City' and is largely visited by tourists from all over the globe. The museum is home to a large number of lovely dolls representing different cultures across the world. Amer Archaeological Museum:
AMER ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM : Located in the Dil-e-Aaram Gardens, of Amer, the ancient capital of Jaipur, and established in 1949. Prior to this, the excavated material from Rairh, Bairat, Sambhar, Nagar etc. and the sculptures and epigraphs collected from various sites in the erstwhile jaipur State were housed at Vidyadhar Gardens in Purana Chat. In July 1949 the entire collection was transferred to Dil-e-Aaram Garden, a part of the old palace at Amer.
Hawa Mahal Museum:
Hawa Mahal Museum, Jaipur is situated behind the Wind Palace, which is not only amazing, but also one of the most interesting structures of India. Founded in 1983, the Hawa Mahal Museum, Jaipur just adjoins the Pratap Mandir. The museum displays articles that are soaked in the tradition of Ganeshwar, Virat Nagar, Raid, Sambhar and Nagar.
